Sheila Archambault Helke is YGL’s President. Prior to this role, she was YGL’s Vice President. In her professional role, she a national security professional with nearly 10 years of experience with the federal government. A native of Minnesota, she earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas in International Studies, with a focus on Middle East Studies and Arabic language, and her Master’s degree in International Affairs from the Catholic University of America. She now lives in Southwest DC with her husband and two dogs. She is an active member of the Junior League of Washington and loves trying new restaurants in the DC area.
